Frequently Asked Questions
What role do Fragrance Notes play in perfume oils?
Top/Head Notes: Usually the first to evaporate and the first thing you notice.
Middle/Heart Notes: Considered the "heart" of the fragrance, these notes are more noticeable after the top notes have evaporated.
Base Notes: Longest lasting scent of the perfume oil. Most often the richest part of the fragrance.
Can I wear this if I have sensitive skin?
Yes! Many of us have sensitive skin and can wear perfume oils. Perfume oils in the roller bottles are not alcohol-based like the sprays, which is often the culprit.
As with introducing anything new to your skin, we do recommend doing a patch test.
What is the best way to store the oils?
Extreme temperatures—both hot and cold—can negatively affect the quality and scent of fragrance oils. Heat can cause the oils to break down or evaporate more quickly, leading to a weaker or altered scent. Cold temperatures, on the other hand, can cause the oils to thicken or crystallize, which may affect how the fragrance is released. For best results, always store fragrance oils in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight or freezing conditions.
How should I apply the oil?
We have found the the most effective way to apply the oils is either of the following ways:
Apply on hand in circular motion, put lotion on hand and apply to body
Place oil on neck, chest, and wrist then apply lotion
If you have another way to apply, please let us know!

Why should I use oil-based vs alcohol-based?
Oil-based perfumes do not evaporate as fast as alcohol-based perfumes. Alcohol-based perfumes can dry skin out, while oil-based perfumes can help moisturize the skin. Oil-based perfumes are less likely to cause irritation.
Why should I use oil-based vs water-based?
Oil-based perfumes last longer than water-based. The perfume reacts to the body chemistry creating an intimate scent development.
Can anything alter the fragrance?
Yes the following factors can impact the fragrance:
Each persons individual body chemistry
Clothing
Silver or Brass metals
We recommend putting the oils on and allowing them to dry prior to putting on any jewelry or clothing.
How long do fragrance oils last?
They can last 6-8 hours or longer, depending on how they are applied, your skin type, and environment.
